Q: Does Giant Food accept Apple Pay as a payment method?
Yes, Giant takes Apple Pay in stores. The below Twitter post from the company confirms they began taking Apple Pay in 2017. They also accept Google Pay.
Tip – Apple Maps & Apple Pay
You can verify if a store such as Giant takes Apple Pay by using the Apple Maps App. Pull up the store you desire to shop at in the app. Scroll down to the “Useful to Know” section. Here you will see the Apple Pay logo and/or “✔ Accepts Apple Pay” if the store takes Apple Pay.
The photo below shows an example of a Giant Food location in Owings Mills, Maryland that accepts Apple Pay. The “Useful to Know” section reflects the Apple Pay logo (circled in red), which indicates that the store takes this payment method.
Of course, since Giant has confirmed that they accept Apple Pay, you don’t have to use Apple Maps to verify they take Apple Pay. However, the app is a useful tool to use if you are curious if other stores allow Apple Pay as a payment option.
