You cannot use an Ashley credit card anywhere. It is a store credit card designed to finance purchases solely at Ashey Furniture stores or on their website.

Annual Fee: There is no annual fee. This allows cardholders to work on paying down their balance instead of dealing with the hassle of burdensome fees.

Final Thoughts

This credit card may be useful for people who can pay off their financing before the no-interest period ends. Based on the information above, the no-interest period is generous and allows Ashley cardholders a nice amount of time to pay off their furniture purchase. However, the APR of 29.9% is simply too high to carry a balance on the credit card beyond the no-interest special financing period.

This certainly is not a credit card you would want to use anywhere, if that were an option, given the high APR and assuming there would be no incentive of no interest for purchases outside of Ashley. There are many better traditional credit cards available that can be used anywhere with much lower APRs, especially for people with good credit. A store credit card, like the Ashley Advantage, has some benefits, but it certainly is not a credit card invented for general use.

Keep in mind that there are some store credit cards that can be used anywhere. An example is the Capital One Walmart Rewards Mastercard
