Yes, Starbucks takes Apple Pay as a payment option. You can use Apple Pay to pay at a Starbucks location or to reload your Starbucks Card.
You can also add a Starbucks Gift Card to Apple Pay Wallet for payment. The below video shows how to add a gift card from the Starbucks App to Apple Wallet.
You can always verify if a location takes Apple Pay by using the Apple Maps App. Pull up the Starbucks you wish to visit in the app. Scroll down to the “Useful to Know” section below the company’s phone number and website address. Here you will see the Apple Pay logo and/or “✔ Accepts Apple Pay” if the location takes Apple Pay.
The photo below shows the Apple Pay logo (circled in red) for a random Starbucks we pulled up using Apple Maps. This logo indicates that this particular Starbuck in Charlotte, North Carolina accepts Apple Pay.
