Sam’s Club does not price match competitors. However, they do offer price adjustments on their own merchandise. Price adjustments only apply to online purchases per Sam’s Club’s official policy. However, read on for more details.
Sam’s Club Price Adjustments
You have eight days from the purchase of an online item to request a price adjustment. This typically means you would have bought an item and it went on sale shortly after your purchase. Price adjustments/matching applies to everyday priced items sold at Sam’s Club or Walmart.
Contact customer service to request the adjustment. You can also return the item and then repurchase the cheaper item if this is more convenient for you.
Note that special event items or pricing do not qualify for price adjustments. Examples of these events include Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Lower Price Online vs In-Club
If you find a lower price on samsclub.com versus in a Club, you can speak with a Sam’s Club manager to attempt to get the lower online price. For example, the Twitter post below shows an interaction between Sam’s Club and a customer. The customer found a lower price on a mattress on samclub.com versus in the Club. Sam Club recommended that the customer speaks with a manager for the potential lower price.
