Can You Make Reservations at Cheddar’s?
No, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen does not take reservations. The restaurant chain confirmed that they don’t have a reservation system in the below Twitter response.
Join Cheddar’s Waitlist
While Cheddar’s does not take reservations, you can join the waitlist online at some locations. To see if a location allows you to be added to the waitlist online, visit cheddars.com. At the top of Cheddar’s homepage, there is a tab titled “Locations” as displayed below highlighted in yellow.
Click the “Locations” tab to be taken to the webpage pictured below. Fill in your city, state, or zip code to find the Cheddar’s restaurants near you.
A list of restaurants will be displayed of locations near you based on the information you entered. If the location allows future guests to join the waitlist online, there will be a “Join Waitlist” button adjacent to the location name and address.
For example, the image below shows that the Orlando – Semoran Blvd restaurant does not have the option to join the waitlist online whereas the Orlando – I-Drive location does offer the ability to join the waitlist (see the “Join Waitlist” button below). Simply click the “Join Waitlist” button (if available) to be taken to the webpage that allows you to enter your waitlist information.
You will then be required to enter the number of guests, your name, mobile number, and email address. You must also indicate whether you want Cheddar’s to send you special offers and news. The image below is an example of the information you will be completing. Once all the information is filled in, click the “Join Waitlist” button to get your name on the waitlist.
Final Thoughts
You will notice above that you can only add a maximum of five guests online. If you have more than five guests, you can call your local restaurant to see if they can accommodate your larger party. Additionally, if the online join the waitlist option is not available for the restaurant you desire to visit, you can call the restaurant to see if they can fulfill your waitlist request.
Many chain restaurants such as Outback and Red Robin now offer the ability to join online waitlists. Before waiting around at the restaurant for a table, you should check the website to see if they have an option to speed up the waiting process. You can always call as well to see if the staff can seat your party as you desire.
