Q: Does Whataburger accept Apple Pay as a payment option?
Whataburger takes Apple Pay at its restaurants and when using the Whataburger app. You can use Apple Pay to purchase breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Whataburger Restaurants & Apple Pay
You can always verify if a Whataburger restaurant takes Apple Pay by using the Apple Maps app. Simply search for the restaurant you want to visit in the app. Once you pull up the location, find the “Useful to Know” section. Here you will see the Apple Pay logo and/or “✔ Accepts Apple Pay” if the restaurant takes Apple Pay.
The below image shows an example of a Whataburger that accepts Apple Pay. Circled in red are the Apple Pay logo and “✔ Accepts Apple Pay” which indicates that this restaurant takes Apple Pay.
Of course, Apple Maps is useful for determining if other restaurants or stores take Apple Pay such as Taco Bell or Popeyes.

The Whataburger app also allows Apple Pay as a payment method. The image below from the app shows that Apple Pay is a payment option along with PayPal and credit/debit cards. You must have Apple Pay setup on your Apple device in order to use Apple Pay for payment.
