Q: Does Wawa accept Apple Pay as a payment option?

Yes, Wawa takes Apple Pay as a payment method.

At the Pump

You can use Apple Pay at the pump. Pumps are equipped with ‘Touch. Pay. Drive.’ that accepts touchless payments from Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay. The below image from Reddit shows an example of what to look for at a Wawa pump to pay with Apple Pay.

You also can pay with Apple Pay using the Wawa App. See the Twitter post from Wawa below that confirms this payment option.

In the Store

Additionally, Apple Pay is a payment option at the register inside Wawa stores.

Apple Pay & Apple Maps App

You can always verify if a location accepts Apple Pay by using the Apple Maps App. All that you need to do is search for the location that you want to shop at in Apple Maps.

You can see in the image below that we pulled up a Wawa in New Castle, Delaware. When you scroll down to the ‘Useful to Know’ section of the app, you will see the Apple Pay logo if the location takes Apple Pay. Since Wawa takes Apple Pay, Apple Maps displays the Apple Pay logo (circled in red below).
