Where Can The Tractor Supply Credit Card Be Used?
The Tractor Supply Credit Card is a store credit card. It can only be used at Tractor Supply stores or on tractorsupply.com. Since it is not linked to a credit card network such as Visa or Mastercard, it cannot be used outside of Tractor Supply. However, if you are a frequent shopper at the store, there are some benefits to obtaining the card assuming you can pay off the balance before interest is due.
Tractor Supply Credit Card Benefits
The three primary benefits of this credit card are its special financing options, rewards, and discounts.
The special financing offers range from 6 to 36 months when offered to cardholders. Three popular special financing options at the time of this article include no interest on purchases of $199 or more if paid in full within 6 months, no interest on purchases of $399 or more if paid in full within 12 months, no interest on purchases of $799 or more if paid in full within 18 months. Other financing offers are available so we encourage you to visit the credit card section on tractorsupply.com to review the current offer details.
The annual percentage rate (APR) for purchases was 25.99% at the time of this article. If the balance is not paid in full, a significant interest payment in relation to the balance will be paid from the purchase date. Essentially, you will want to pay off a purchase within the promotional period or any benefit to you is lost. The hefty interest isn’t worth paying when other cards offer much more attractive interest rates for many people.
Rewards, Discounts, & Other Benefits
Cardholders who are approved can receive 5% back in rewards when not making a promotional credit purchase. Membership in Neighbor’s Club Rewards is required and exclusions apply.
Some of the other benefits that your credit card may offer based on approval are birthday gifts, exclusive offers, no receipt returns, free same-day delivery, everyday standard free shipping on $29 or more purchases, and more.
You should strongly consider staying away from this credit card if you think you will pay interest on it. The APR is too high to carry a balance on the card and the interest will quickly wipe away any benefit that attracted you to it in the first place. The promotional financing and rewards are nice perks but only if you can keep interest payments in check.
