Q: Does Sheetz accept Apple Pay for payment?
Yes, Sheetz takes Apple Pay. You can pay with Apple Pay at gas pumps and in-stores. The company started accepting this payment method around 2017.
You can always verify if a gas station, such as Sheetz or Wawa, takes Apple Pay by using the Apple Maps app. The app is likely already on your Apple device. If not, it can be downloaded from the Apple App Store.
Open up the app and search for the location you wish to visit. Once you pull up the location, look for the “Useful to Know” section below the physical address and website address. Here you will see the Apple Pay logo and/or “✔ Accepts Apple Pay” if it takes Apple Pay.
The image below from the Apple Maps app shows an example of a Sheetz that takes Apple Pay. You can see, circled in red, that this location accepts Apple Pay.
All Sheetz locations take Apple Pay, therefore, you don’t need to confirm if Apple Pay is a payment method using Apple Maps. However, the app is a useful tool to use if you are unsure if another store takes Apple Pay.
