The stores feature a smaller footprint compared to many grocery stores, which helps reduces costs and prices.

While check usage has dramatically decreased over the past decade, several grocery stores still accept checks for payment. According to the Save-A-Lot website, most locations accept checks as a payment method.

In Addition to checks, most stores accept cash, WIC, food stamps, and EBT/QUEST cards. Some stores offer the option to pay via debit or credit cards. Check with your local Save-A-Lot for the payment methods that they accept.
