Does Outback Steakhouse Take Reservations?

Last Updated on 09/08/2021 by GS Staff

Outback Steakhouse does not take reservations. However, you can get on the restaurant’s waiting list prior to arriving there.

To get on the waiting list, visit locations.outback.com/search to search for the Outback you wish to dine at. Once you pull up your local restaurant, you will see a button titled “Get On The List” (see the below image). Click this button to proceed to add your information to the waiting list. Note that if you do not see the “Get On The List” button, that particular location does not have the waitlist option.

Once you click the “Get On The List” button, you will be taken to the screen shown in the image below. Select the number of guests (up to 6) and the time. Then click the red “Next Step” button.

You will then be taken to a guest information page where you add your name, phone number, email address, and any special occasion you will be celebrating such as a birthday, graduation, or anniversary. Once you add this information, click the “Confirm” button to add your name to the wait list.

Note that being added to the waiting list is not a reservation. It simply adds your name to the current list of people waiting for a table.

It may not be necessary to add your name to the list since there may not be a wait time. As shown in the image above (top right), you can verify if there is no wait once you enter the location you wish to visit on the Outback website.
