Q: Does Hot Topic accept Apple Pay as a payment method?
Yes, you can use Apple Pay at Hot Topic stores and online in the United States. If you place an order outside of the U.S., Apple Pay may not be accepted.
Hot Topic Stores & Apple Pay
Apple Pay can be used as a payment method at all U.S. Hot Topic retail locations. Simply bring your compatible Apple device with Apple Pay set up on it to Hot Topic to use for payment.
As a side note, you always can use the Apple Maps app to find out if a retail location accepts Apple Pay. You just need to search for the location you wish to visit in the app. Once the store is pulled up, scroll down to the “Useful to Know” section. Here you will see the Apple Pay logo and/or “✔ Accepts Apple Pay” if the merchant takes Apple Pay.
The image below shows an example of a Hot Topic location that accepts Apple Pay. Circled in red is the Apple Pay logo which indicates that this store takes Apple Pay. Since you already know Hot Topic takes Apple Pay, using Apple Maps is unnecessary. However, it is a useful tool to use when you are unsure if another retailer takes Apple Pay such as Zara or H&M.
Hot Topic App & Apple Pay
When using the Hot Topic app, you can use Apple Pay as a payment method. The image below from the Hot Topic app shows that Apple Pay is a payment option. Note that you must have Apple Pay set up on your Apple device to checkout with Apple Pay.
Be aware that you also can use an Apple device with a Safari browser for Apple Pay payment on the Hot Topic website. Apple Pay will need to be set up on your device before completing your purchase.
