Q: Does Cub Foods accept Apple Pay as a payment method?
Yes, Cub Foods takes Apple Pay. The company recently confirmed that they accept the following contactless payment methods: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and tap-to-pay credit cards. See the below Facebook post from Cub for additional confirmation that they take Apple Pay.
You can always find out if a store takes Apple Pay by using the Apple Maps App. Simply search for the store you wish to visit using the app. Once the store is pulled up, scroll down to the “Useful to Know” section. This section is found below the store address, phone number, and company website address. Here you will see the Apple Pay logo and/or “✔ Accepts Apple Pay” if the store takes Apple Pay.
For example, when we searched for the Cub location at 1540 New Brighton Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55413 we found both the Apple Pay logo and “✔ Accepts Apple Pay” in the “Use to Know” section.
All Cub locations take Apple Pay so you do not need to use the Apple Maps App for confirmation. However, it is a handy tool to use if you are unsure if other stores take Apple Pay.
