Q: Does Costco accept Apple Pay as a payment method?
Yes, Costco takes Apple Pay in all U.S. warehouses. However, they do not accept Apple Pay on Costco.com or at U.S. Costco gas stations.
Keep in mind that your payment methods are not as broad at Costco warehouses compared to other stores. Costco does not accept Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. The only major credit card they take is Visa at their warehouses. Considering this information, it is nice to have Apple Pay to use as a primary or secondary payment option.

If you want to confirm that a Costco location or other store takes Apple Pay, simply open up your Apple Maps app. Once in the app, pull up your local store and scroll down to where it displays the address, phone number, and website address. Just below this information is a section called “Useful to Know”. Here it will show the Apple Pay logo if the store takes Apple Pay as a payment method. All Costco locations that you pull up in Apple Maps should reflect the Apple Pay logo.
