Q: Does Cabela’s accept PayPal for payment?

No, Cabela’s does not take PayPal. You can see from the Cabelas.com website (view the image below) that PayPal is not a payment option at checkout.

Cabela’s recently confirmed on Twitter (see below) that they do not accept PayPal. However, the parent company of Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops, does accept PayPal for online orders. Bass Pro Shops may be a good alternative if you must/prefer to use PayPal for payment.

Cabela’s and PayPal Cash Card

A sort of workaround to use PayPal at Cabela’s is by using the PayPal Cash Card. This card is requested in your PayPal account and the physical card is mailed to you if you are approved to receive it.

The PayPal Cash Card is a debit card so a credit check does not apply. The card uses the money in your balance for payment and can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted, including Cabela’s online or in-stores.
