The short answer is yes, AliExpress takes PayPal. You can order products through the AliExpress website and app using PayPal.

However, some sellers on AliExpress do not permit PayPal as a payment method. The sellers on AliExpress must activate PayPal as a payment option for their store. If the seller opts not to use PayPal, PayPal will not appear as a payment option at checkout.

In other words, while PayPal is accepted on AliExpress, you have to add the product to your cart to determine if it can be purchased with PayPal. Each seller determines if they want to use PayPal to accept payment unlike other retailers, like The Home Depot, which take Paypal online for all products.

PayPal can often be used as a payment option when using the AliExpress App. The image below shows what to look for when using the app to pay with PayPal. If the PayPal logo does not appear at checkout, this means the seller does not accept PayPal for payment. Another payment option will need to be selected to complete the purchase.
